Look, I don’t mean to be rude or anything but some of the apps I’ve seen on the app store for tutoring have such a plain and complicated interface.
What’s the point of using an app if you don’t like the way it looks and is too darn complicated to figure out? The main thing my team and I focused on when we designed the interface of Solvr was the simplicity and comforting colors/aesthetic of the app.
So, when you use Solvr, you’ll notice that not only does the whole app look so soft and comforting, it’s very easy to use!
Students can be both Learners and Tutors
Solvr enables you to be both a Learner and a Tutor.
Look, here is my philosophy… anyone can teach a certain subject.
Let me give you an example, I am pretty decent at math (if I say so myself), But, I am not so decent at Chemistry. So, with Solvr, I can tutor other students in Math and receive tutoring with Chemistry.
It’s a win-win!
Other platforms require you to upload such personal information in order to be a tutor and most of the time you can’t even become a tutor without having a degree. With Solvr, we make it simple.
We still do our own vetting, but we give students the flexibility of being both a tutor and a student without uploading private information.
You can switch through the two accounts a similar way you change Instagram accounts if you have more than one!
Flexible & Secure payment methods
Look, I completely understand that uploading payment information on any given platform may cause a little hesitation…
This is why we found the perfect solution and created the optimal payment process. We partnered up with PayPal to ensure your information is Secure.
On many other platforms, you have to actually upload your bank details… which in my opinion is crazy.
I personally wouldn’t do it so WHY on earth would I expect you to or ask you to? Our trusted method is the same one companies like Uber, Airbnb, and Dropbox use
You don’t have to upload any bank information, you get to choose between your Paypal account, debit card, or credit card.

The Solvr Wallet is a feature that allows you to transfer or withdraw money from one place. You see… if you’re a bit hesitant about spending money, what you can do is tutor someone in a subject you’re good at, and then use that money to receive tutoring.
The money you made would be displayed in your solvr wallet, so you can use the same money to receive help.
Essentially you’re spending what you make, so there isn’t an overall loss.
