These 3 Ways will get you better Reviews and Ratings

When using Solvr as a tutor, the best thing you can do is help the Learner out in the clearest and most efficient way possible… Let’s dive into it!

Price The Same as the Learner

When you’re ready to apply for a task, you’ll notice that the learner has laid out a price they are willing to pay. Whatever you do, always put the same price that they’re willing to pay.

The reason I say this is because if you put the same price, they are more likely to pick you right away. Students want affordable help, and the moment you satisfy the “affordable” part… you’re golden.

So just price correctly!

Be as Informative as Possible

Add more than expected. This will help ensure the learner is satisfied with your help and also makes the learner more likely to leave you a better review. Upload images, PDFs, or even just comprehensive explanations through text with our step-by-step feature.

Look, the more comprehensive you are, the more likely they are to be satisfied with the help you gave them. So just explain with a lot of useful information and make clear descriptive step titles. If you do this, you will be satisfying the student's “Value” part of their query.

Essentially what I’m trying to say is, make sure you answer specifically what the Learner is asking for, adding lots of information covers the risk of not satisfying the student's inquiry.

If you do this, you will also be Golden!

Help as many people as you can

The more tasks you have completed, the better. You’ll also likely have more reviews so not only will you look more trustable, you’ll look a lot more credible when a learner clicks on your profile.

The more people you help, the more you’ll learn about what specifically students like and don’t like. So helping a lot of students will provide you with a good amount of experience, which you can then use to satisfy other Learners.

Just keep tutoring, not only will you make so much money, but you’ll also have many tasks are done which makes you seem experienced. With lots of tasks done comes great reviews, so just keep tutoring on Solvr.

If you really want to take it up a notch, you could create a learner profile and try to get tutored in a subject. Once you’re receiving tutoring, reflect on the good things your assigned tutor is doing and the things they could do to create a more memorable/useful experience. Then incorporate that in your tutoring strategy.

I hope this was helpful! Remember, if you need any help at all, just send us an email at hello@solvrapp.com! We’ll be sure to respond as soon as we can!
